I am a 48 year old woman traveling this journey through life's smart, yet sometimes difficult lessons. I'm a mom to a terrific son. A daughter and CNA/caregiver to my father who suffers from Alzheimer's Disease. I took care of my mom whom I lost to Lewy Body Dementia in 2014. I have many awesome friends, some whom I have had since childhood. I have been an avid animal rescuer since I was a little girl. But my most important fact is that I am a child of God! I love Jesus with all my heart. I am blessed even though my journey has not always been an easy one. I enjoy reading, writing, photography, gardening, and travel! I love being creative so DIY projects are awesome also. Oh and living in the country. I am very much a southern girl!
One might ask, why the blog? Why write? Well, I will tell you. I have always been about helping others. I had the opportunity to travel to Atlanta, Georgia the first weekend in May. I met such wonderful people and made new friendships through The Lipstick Gospel a writers retreat. We all have a story… OUR very own story! I want to share real life experiences about Faith, Hope, Love, Family, and Friendships that can bring Hope, Inspire, Teach, and Encourage others. That is what I hope to do through my blog and through my love in Christ! If what I do makes a difference for just one person, then my job is done here. So pull up a chair, grab a glass of sweet tea or your favorite coffee, and lets share some stories…. Many Blessings! Mandy
