mandy phifer photography

Right before my mom became ill in 2014, I started taking a few classes in photography.  I bought myself a DSLR camera and accessories and wanted to learn how to use it. It was a bit more perplexed than I expected. I continued on for as long as I could through her illness, however distracted I put down the camera and gave my attention where it needed to be.  I thought I could pick it up in a few months and do this as a side job in the future. At least, that was my plan. Mom passed away. I cared for my father until 2019 when he passed. I did try the classes again in 2016, however his health was overwhelming. I have been doing photography, little by little since then. Mostly on my phone. I love chasing sunsets, taking animal pictures, nature, really anything.  I flew to NY to sit through a seminar with Kaylee Greer of Dog Breath Photography. Her work is awesome! EEK! What I thought I would do has changed, but not my love for photography.
